I'm using Thunderbird version 128.11.0esr on my Windows 11 desktop computer.

I have many email accounts in Thunderbird and Thunderbird automatically forwards email from some of the accounts.

Occasionally I will see an error message: "Send Message Error. Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: Error sending message for delivery... Please check the message and try again."

Can I trace this error back to determine which email account is causing the error?

Thank you.

You could take a look at the Error console (ctrl-shift-j).

Thank you Ed. I did not find anything in the Error console that could direct me to the specific error and the email account causing the error.

Your suggestion has also led me to "Activity Manager". I will check both "Error Console" and "Activity Manager" the next time the error occurs.
